Commodity Services Limited (CSL) offer a combination of services imperative to collateral management: Warehouse Receipt and secure storage management. The integration of Warehouse Receipt ownership and pledge registration on the ACE WRS protects the title of goods and allows parties with a lien to liquidate stocks to cover any outstanding obligations by following the WRS Rules, governed by the Warehouse Receipt Act 2018 through the Exchange and regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi.
While the Warehouse Receipt protects the title, CSL protects the goods by ensuring they do not leave the designated storage space without the necessary approvals.

What is Stock Monitoring (SMA)?

Stock Monitoring (SMA) is a service where CSL’s certified inspectors regularly visit and monitor commodities stored in warehouses. It provides banks, financiers, and storage operators with independent, reliable updates on the status of the stock without taking full collateral control.

What is Commodity & Consignment Verification?

It is an independent inspection service where CSL’s certified professionals verify both the quantity and quality of commodities at key stages during offloading, while in storage, or at dispatch/loading. This provides accurate, unbiased authentication for all parties involved.
